Crochet is a therapeutic form of art, one that more and more crafters are embracing. Whether it’s the project, the yarn, or the pattern, creativity flows from all aspects, allowing you to enjoy every part of the process.

One of my favorite things about crocheting is—no surprise—the yarn.

Sometimes, I find myself lost in the endless possibilities yarn offers, imagining the final product that others will enjoy. Pairing the perfect yarn with a project based on both its qualities and personal preference has become the foundation of my designs, and it's something I truly relish.

When I discovered Hobbii Yarn Fluffy Day, I was absolutely thrilled. I have a love-hate relationship with mohair, so you can imagine my excitement when I found that Fluffy Day is made of premium acrylic that mimics the plush feel of mohair—without the itch! Plus, it’s worsted weight… can you ever go wrong with that combination? I think not.

I’m so excited to introduce the Allure Cardigan to the crochet pattern world and share this wonderful yarn with you. Of course, it shares some nuances with working with mohair, so careful stitching is recommended. But the result is so worth it.

If you’re unable to get your hands on Fluffy Day, you can substitute it with Lion Brand Re-Make or Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca. Both are a perfect gauge match, though Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca contains animal fiber content. The alternatives are slightly denser than Fluffy Day, so I recommend swatching first to ensure the best fit for your project.
